A Diva Chihuahua

I just assumed that my Chihuahua was spoiled rotten but according to my adult child not only is she spoiled rotten, but she is a Diva. A Diva Chihuahua? Is is possible? Read on...

Elizabeth Taylor is a stay at home Chihuahua but we don't live an extravagant lifestyle so she doesn't expect white diamonds- or does she? Maybe her idea of white diamonds and ours is totally different! She has a selection of clothes. I am the one who makes the big deal out of dressing her up. She could really care less. She has a huge selection of toys, but prefers whoobies which are just loofa toys. She has several doggy beds, but prefers ours and by morning when we are falling off the sides of the bed it is because she is stretched out in the middle and during the night has managed to bring all of her toys onto the bed with all of us. When Dr. Oz suggested a boppy for aching backs I got one. I have to be careful because the boppy is her new favorite place to nap now. I talk to her in a certain voice that she relates to. I am also guilty of singing to her. Talking or singing will take her tummy up for tummy rubs. She goes a lot of places with us and yes has been in places where dogs are not allowed. Hey don't judge! She is a service dog too! She is fulfilling a service of being my Diva Dog! My Diva Dog! Did I just actually say it? She is only fed the finest of doggy cuisine with bottled water only.
She gets pampered often with baths and getting her nails done. She does not like her feet wet so they have to be wiped dry on rainy or snowy days. She gets her feet cleaned after going for a walk or coming in from the outside.  She is what I call a snobby dog. She doesn't really care too much for other dogs except her own kind- other Chihuahuas and gets frequent play dates with her Chihuahua friend. Pictures, scrap books and photo albums galore. Whenever I have the camera in hand oh wait look at her. I have to get a picture! She is a typical Chi spending her day sunning herself on the couch in the afternoon sun. If she doesn't want to move when I want to set down that's okay I'll just set on the other end. Okay so if I have to be honest yes she has a touch of Diva!

Haha! There's nothing wrong with a Diva Dog!

It sounds more to me like she's got an indulgent owner than Diva drive, but we'll take that too. It's says volumes about the kind of person you are, all in a good way. =)

MeyouandZu I'm laughing. I guess I spoiled her to the point of Diva. I did forget to mention her bling. Her carrier has bling on the sides and the strap and for sure her collar and leash have bling.

Crystal- Awww thanks for the kind words.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself.
